Emission norms for tractors (Smoke from Tractors driven by Diesel) were notified by GSR 627 (E), 8th September, 1999 under the Central Motor Vehicle Rules 1989 are effective from 1st October 1999. The same were amended vide Notification GSR 589 (E), 16th September 2005 as under:
Driving Cycle: ISO 8178 Part -4 (1996) “C1” 8 Mode Cycle
As per Government order GSR 84 (E), 9th February, 2009, the Bharat (Trem) Stage-III norms comply with emission value as under mentioned in the graph.
